Policy & Terms Overview

At Event Maids, our goal is to make every event stress-free from start to finish.

The following outlines our most important policies so clients know what to expect before booking.

All reservations are subject to Event Maids’ full Service Agreement, which is provided at the time of booking.

  • A 25% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due two (2) weeks before the event.
  • Bookings totaling $400 or less require full payment at the time of booking
  • Payments received 3 days after the due date incur a $25 per-day late fee until paid in full.
  • No services will be performed unless the account is paid in full prior to the event.



  • Cancellations made at least two (2) months prior to the event date forfeit only the non-refundable retainer.
  • Cancellations made within two (2) months of the event are non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling requests are accepted based on availability and must be confirmed in writing and may be subject to additional fees.


Event Maids provides setup, cleanup, and support services as described in your booking confirmation.

We are not decorators, designers, or coordinators, and we do not handle draped or hanging linens.

Unless otherwise noted, services do not include food disposal,  clearing of dinner dishes, dishwashing, or deep cleaning.

Detailed service descriptions are included in each client’s contract.


  • Restroom Refresh (available with Table Bussing): mid-event restocking and tidying, not to replace end of night cleaning.
  • End-of-Night Restroom Cleanup: cleaning and trash removal at the end of the event.
  • Buffet Attendants: keep buffet areas tidy; not responsible for food prep.


Event Maids prioritizes the safety of our team and the quality of our service. In the event of inclement weather (rain, wind, or other unsafe conditions), we reserve the right to postpone or cancel services. No services will be performed in conditions that put staff, guests, or property at risk.


Clients who wish to proceed despite bad weather may do so for an additional fee of $250. If this fee is paid, our team will complete the services to the best of our ability given the conditions. This fee may be included with the final payment prior to the event or paid on the day of the event. Services will NOT continue unless the Bad Weather Fee is paid in full. Please note that while we strive to maintain high-quality service, certain aspects may be impacted by the weather.


Event Maids staff do not ask guests to leave the premises.

If guests, vendors, or scheduling delays prevent completion of services, the work performed will be considered fulfilled and payment will remain due in full.


Event Maids may capture photos or short videos of setup and cleanup areas for marketing purposes.

By booking, the Client grants Event Maids permission to use this content on our website, social media, and promotional materials.


Event Maids is a licensed and insured business.

Clients are responsible for providing venue access, sufficient lighting, trash receptacles, and restroom facilities for staff use.

Event Maids is not liable for:

  • Damage or injury caused by guests, vendors, or third parties.
  • Weather delays or venue restrictions.
  • Property damage occurring before or after our scheduled service time.


Client is responsible for providing an accurate guest count. Inaccurate guest counts may result in incomplete services. Event Maids will not provide a refund due to incomplete services as a result of inaccurate guest counts.
